I'm stocking up on all purpose cards. Here are a few. It was fun to finally dig out my sewing machine and sew :)

Here are a few new birthday cards. I love glittery paper - and I have a lot of young girls in my family who love it too!

lunchbox surprise

Lynn is the pickiest eater on the planet, so naturally, she won't eat the school lunch. So she gets a sack lunch. And on some days, her sack lunch has a surprise. She enjoys opening up her lunchbox and finding something special from Grandma.

Wow!

Over a year and a half. That's how long I went between posts as you might notice if you're reading this.

What happened?

Life, as usual.

Like many women, I developed some rockin' hobbies when my kids started growing up and moving out. Then, just when I got one of their bedrooms for a craft room, I found myself caring for my granddaughter. She was just old enough that I couldn't ignore her and I couldn't let her wander freely amongst my pretty papers and baubles.

Fast forward nearly two years and she's old enough to enjoy her own "projects" so grandma can slowly get back to the things she loves. For now there's only time for things I need to do: birthday cards for the bunches of family and friends. Occasionally I sell get well and sympathy cards.

I'm hoping this new stage (we've entered kindergarten this fall!) will yield even more time for paper crafting!!
